My research indicates that I have blood ties to 17 of the accused witches in New England's witch trials. While I can't say that all of these people have the RH- bloodtype, it is reasonable to assume that some did and the others had the recessed gene. After all, every person has two alleles (one from each parent) and passes one or the other to their child.  I found that this was pretty evenly distributed among my ancestors. There were 8 accused witches on my fathers side and 9 from my mothers.
