Home Decor Tuesday (June 12th, 2012)

Happy Tuesday everyone. Lady Jacqueline here. I''ll be taking over the Home Decor blog from here on out. Oh the things we will find!

On an adventure to find home decor goodies right here in Tacoma, I ran across The Design Cottage on North 21st Street. Founded in Gig Harbor and settled right here in North Tacoma, the Design Cottage is full of repurposed antique finds like furniture, home accessories and artful touches that your home has simply been begging for.

Even their sign is made from the front of a repurposed dresser!!!

Any woman (or man) who has discovered Pinterest has discovered the wonders of chalk paint. Think it's hard to find? Well then, you're in luck. They have loads AND workshops for your crafty project needs. Le Sigh.

A legitimate old German go-cart. Antique, rolling, "shabby chic" wheels.

A lovely collection of bowls and vases.

This whole set is difficult to do justice to. Beautiful pastels (done with chalk paint), dishes and lovely locally made rabbit themed pillows. Go and see!

Distressed looking birdhouses. This one is at least my height and includes an upcycled faucet and shelves. Perfect for your garden.

Just HAD to feature this one. And old school desk and chair. Plenty of space to hide away goodies and surface space to boot!

If you visit please tell them Lady Jacqueline from the Duchess of Downtown Blog sent you. They will take extra good care of you! :)

XOXO,

Lady Jacqueline
