Menu Item Monday (June 11th, 2012)

This sign popped up at 1015 Pacific Ave recently (in the same building as Expand Yoga). Word on the street is that Bon Temps is going to be a cajun restaurant brought to you by the owner of Maxwell's Speakeasy Lounge. Details are a tightly held secret and the opening is highly anticipated! We will try to get you more information if we can! :)

Fish and Chips with garlic french fries - I've ordered this the last two times I've visited PG and both times it was delicious! We were fortunate enough to have the owner come and sit with us while we were there the other night. We talked about his new cafe inside the LeMay Museum, his brother's new mobile restaurant venture, the latest on Zoobilee, the Hide & Seek exhibit at TAM, and a bit of politics among other things. There's a lot going on in downtown Tacoma!

Duck Sausage Sliders - that's right. I said duck. As in rhymes with yuck but according to my friend who ordered these, they are anything but yuck. She chowed these down in no time flat. These are on the Happy Hour Menu - and at Pacific Grill, its happy hour ALL DAY. :)

Ramen Bowl - its fancier that the kind you make at home and its packed with special ingredients. Doesn't it look pretty? Did you know that if you are staying at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel and you order room service that you're really ordering from Pacific Grill? How awesome is that! :)

I hope you enjoyed today's food selections. I'm sorry that the food blog happens to fall on Monday's when many restaurants downtown are closed. Not all of them are closed though. Be sure to check the hours either online or by phone before you embark on your Monday food missions!

XOXO,
Duchess of Downtown Tacoma
