Thrify Thursday (April 26th, 2012)
How does one go about all the time and not notice deals? Since our economy dropped off, whether you are an optimist and think it's on the up and up or not so optimistic and think it's still swirling down the drain, one thing is certain; businesses will always have their clearance racks and sale items.
They want your business. This includes the ma and pop stores all over Tacoma. Let's face it, while Tacoma is a city it is also a tight knit community. We want to support our fellow community members far more than the big wigs hocking subpar wares.
And that is what we aim to do each week with our Thrifty Thursday. Shop local, save big and help our community flourish.
Posh Home
If you're in need of some swagger in your home life go visit Posh Home. There are some AMAZING staples from your home for both the not so thrifty and thrifty alike. There is a whole clearance corner filled with rad items. Not to mention if you purchase $5000 in furniture or upholstering they will waive their interior decorating fee in home (Regular fee is $150 an hour for design service). Or even drop in for a free consultation if you're looking to revamp your home interior.

Pillow, pillows, pillows. You can add spunk to your favorite chair. |
Jewell Day Spa
We've featured goodies from Jewell Day Spa before and for good reason. They ALWAYS have a little something neat for your thrifty shopping.
This wrap bracelet caught my eye. ONLY $3.99 and can dress up any outfit. YES. Want to wheel and deal and be featured on this blog? The deals we highlight aren't the only things thrifty on Thursdays. As a special offer to our thrifty businesses we offer up our 1-3 pic features, normally a $25 fee (and infinitely worth more as advertising value) for $15 a week. $15 to bring new clientele who want to give their money to local loves. That's about as affordable as advertising gets!!! Contact me for more details, stats and to sign up: jackie.d.fender@gmail.com or 253-298-9417. Looking forward until next time.
