Home Decor Tuesday (July 24th) Workshopin'

Earlier this year I expressed my amore for the Design Cottage located in the North End. My admiration is not simply in the shabby chic style there, or the upcycled goodies or even the whimsy you feel when you enter but with the idea of their weekly workshops!

Three times a week the Design Cottage encourages you to put on some paint clothes, grab a small project you've been dying to work on and attend one of the workshops. For only $130 you score a can of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, a copy of "Quick and Easy Paint Transformations" by Ms. Sloan and 4 hours of on hand instruction and light refreshments.

You can stop dreaming about revamping your home via Pinterest and start DOING it.

Classes are held: Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Oh the possibilities

On site, the Design Cottage has an entire dining set upcycled thanks to Annie Sloan Chalk Paint
Make sure to call ahead of time to reserve your spot, only 5 seats are available per class. OR, if you're interested in joining me for a Saturday class comment below and let's coordinate schedules.

Know of another cool home decor workshop available? Point me in the right direction.

And naturally if you visit the Design Cottage tell the ladies where you saw them, right here on the Duchess blog.

XOXO,

Lady Jacqueline
