Julie Luke Connect on Facebook The always fantastic Julie Luke of Luke Arts always has reasonable and stellar prices on art and prints. This can't always be said for artists....so it's nice to know that adornment for your walls are attainable. Art is good for the soul after all. .I'm publishing my Monday blog on a Tuesday. This is not out of laziness or neglect I assure you. These last few days have been so full I hardly had time to sit down. And to prove this to you I'm including some of my recent adventures.  It's been a very exciting few days! Friday night I performed some acoustic songs for Tacoma Cash Mob event at a children's clothing and accessories store called Best Loved Baby . Lady Kashmir came along and took some photos of clothing items for a future edition of Fashion Friday (kids edition). I played some of my own songs mixed in with some songs by Jewell, Alanis, Coldplay, REM, Joan Osborn, The Pogues, Regina Spektor and Death Cab for Cutie just to name a few. It was a very relaxed environment and I even got to sit on a couch while I played, which is my favorite way to do it. If I had my way I'd bring a loveseat to every gig. A couple of years ago my friend Linda Lapping, a fellow Tacoman, met a nice guy and they really hit it off. Eventually she moved in with him at the Old Rainier Brewery Building, a mecca for artists to live and work in Seattle. Its an amazing place and thanks to her they have an amazing artwalk now. I was late to the party as this has been going on for well over a year now (I believe on a quarterly basis) but I finally made it up there last week. These are the photos I took. I'm not going to explain each of them because I was having too much fun and I had way to many inspiring ideas flowing through my mind to ask the appropriate questions.
