Tetraphobia, the Shee and me
Tetraphobia (from Ancient Greek(tetrás) 'four', and Ancient Greek (phóbos) 'fear') is the practice of avoiding instances of the digit 4.
It is a superstition most common in East Asian nations.
Many buildings in Asian countries don't have a fourth floor. If hospitals do, then they never keep patients on the fourth floor.
The 4th floor is missing because there is a very similar pronunciation of "four" and "death" in many languages that sounds like "shee."

The pagan's were afraid to say the word Side because they thought it may provoke them so they called them by other names like "the good people."
Fredrik Lindström's book "Jordens smartaste ord" discusses the word "shh" in depth and posits it's the only word common to all human languages. It's even present in languages that don't use the sound.
When I heard about this it sparked an idea. Maybe sometimes the Side are living on the unmentionable 4th floor of a tall brick or concrete building where you press a combination of buttons rather than just one to access it. Maybe it's unlucky for a human to venture into the 4th floor because it's the secret hiding place of the Side. I think I am going to use this idea in the historical fiction book I'm writing. (Which is the reason for all this weird research BTW. )
The Side are also closely related to leprechauns who are known to deal in matters of luck.

The word "Fairy" in Japanese is "Yōsei" which when pronounced, sounds a lot like my last name Jossy. Which also sounds like Yusef or Joseph which means "God will give" or "He will add" which either way sounds pretty lucky!

King David's son King Solomon was known to be a great magician who could control demons. Demons and Angels are really the same race. The one's who care about humans we call Angels and the one's who have already judged mankind as unworthy and who would do us harm, we call demons. Aren't they all just Side in the end? And speaking of the end, isn't it the Angel of Death who escorts us as we go 4th to the afterlife?

You might find out you are Side living on the forbidden 4th floor of a castle called Olympus where there is a secret tunnel to the ocean leading through the ground where a petroglyph created by "the ‘Changer’ the mystical Almighty" was buried thousands of years ago in a place called Half Moon Yard. Why not! After all, Olympus is the place where God's and demi-God's go to rest. And Tacoma is the city of Destiny. Why wouldn't we have supernatural beings and our own stone of destiny buried deep within? Isn't it obvious? LOL

I just learned that famous novelist Agatha Christie was a frequent guest of a hotel in Turkey called Pera Palace where she always stayed in the same room on the 4th floor and that is where she wrote her book "Murder on the Orient Express."
